Mexico
While working at GCA Architects, I had the privilege of collaborating with Irene Sanched and Elisa Suela on this remarkable Ranch House project in Mexico. The design draws inspiration from vernacular architecture, incorporating traditional materials such as chukum in earthy tones for the walls complemented by rich wood flooring, wooden beams, and reed-covered ceilings, grounding the space in its cultural and geographical context.
At the same time, the project embraces modernity and sophistication. The clean lines of the architecture and the tastefully selected modern furniture bring a refined elegance to the home.
The overall mood of the space is one of relaxed sophistication, with an atmosphere that feels both grounded and luxurious. Through the 3D visualizations, we aimed to convey the warmth of the traditional materials while highlighting the sleek, modern touches that elevate the home’s design.
